Our thoughts on the free premium snack
We completely missed that this promotion originally started on October 22, 2025. That’s because it’s honestly quite easy to overlook the button on the splash screen when logging onto the Wi-Fi. It wasn’t until our recent flight to start off 2026 that we noticed the button. I’ve had at least half a dozen flights during that time that would have been eligible. But better late than never, right?
All that needed to be done is click the button. Since the splash screen contains all your information already, there wasn’t any need to prove you’re a cardmember. I just needed to show the screen to a flight attendant and let them know my option.

Both Jenn and I are Delta cardmembers, so we each received a choice. I selected the Pringles can and she selected the Dot’s pretzels. Yes, you can request it even in first class despite them never coming by to ask if you want to purchase any snacks.

Ultimately, it’s a rather simple promotion. We wouldn’t have otherwise paid for the snacks. But if you’re flying on a Delta flight in the near future and have their credit card, you might as well request the freebie. Snacks can run out while on the flight, but odds are there will be something for you to choose. It’s not a widely-known promotion
