Chase Ultimate Rewards Now Transfer to Wyndham Rewards 1:1

If you’re in desperate need of Wyndham Rewards points, you might be happy that Chase Ultimate Rewards points now transfer 1:1 to the program.

And now Chase adds in another transfer partner, Wyndham Rewards, also at a 1:1 transfer ratio. Transfers must be in increments of 1,000 points and should transfer instantly though officially it might take a week.

It’s been a while since Chase Ultimate Rewards last added a transfer partner. Prior to Wyndham Rewards, the next most-recent inclusion was Air Canada Aeroplan, which happened in August 2021. It might seem like a long time, and it is, but there typically isn’t too much movement with bank programs adding or removing partners. It’s not like loyalty programs are added or deleted with a high frequency.

There are now 3 ways to transfer points to Wyndham Rewards

In need of Wyndham Rewards points quickly? The good news is that there are now three ways to get them quickly:

  • Capital One, which transfers miles at a 1:1 ratio
  • Chase Ultimate Rewards, which now also transfers points at a 1:1 ratio
  • Citi ThankYou, which transfers miles at a 1:1 ratio if you have the right credit card, or at a 1:0.7 ratio if you don’t

Free nights with Wyndham Rewards cost either 7,500, 15,000, or 30,000 points per night depending on where you’re looking to go. With transfer ratios sitting at 1:1, that means you could get a free night for as few as 7,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points. Keep in mind that you’ll be on the hook for any resort fees.

There’s a 30% transfer bonus until March 31 to celebrate

In honor of the new transfer partner, Chase Ultimate Rewards is sweetening the pot by giving you an extra 30% of value on each UR point you send to Wyndham. Instead of the normal 1:1 ratio, you’ll instead get 1,300 Wyndham points for each 1,000 Chase UR you send (1:1.3).

If you have an immediate use for the Wyndham points, it might be worth considering a transfer. However, that doesn’t change the fact that you can generally do better with your Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

(There’s also a 25% transfer bonus that Citi ThankYou is offering on transfer to Wyndham until March 21, 2026.)

This particular inclusion doesn’t move the needle for us but it helps

Wyndham Rewards hasn’t been an intriguing option since the loss of Vacasa

We’ve been down on the Wyndham Rewards program since the loss of Vacasa back in November 2025. That hurt the ability to get outsized value for your Wyndham points. With the removal of the Vacasa, that dropped our valuation of Wyndham points down to just 1.0 cents each.

But with that said, you’ll want to run the math on any potential hotel you want to stay in prior to transferring. A value of 1 cent each doesn’t mean you’re even guaranteed to get that as a baseline. We’ve seen hotels that give less than 0.5 cents/point value if you were to use points. That’s pretty painful, especially when you realize how much more value your Capital One, Chase, and Citi points can be worth elsewhere.

Brief comparison of hotels at the lower end of the spectrum

What if you’re looking for a cheap room anywhere? The good news is that Wyndham offers rewards for as little as 7,500 points per night. But Chase Ultimate Rewards has three other hotel programs available as transfer partners. How do they stack up?

  • Hyatt maintains an award chart and free nights can be as cheap as 3,500 points per night. Even after the upcoming devaluation, the minimum for an award night will be 3,000 points per night.
  • IHG free nights are loosely linked to revenue rates. That said, we’ve seen rooms as cheap as 7,000 points/night (with a potential special promo making it even cheaper). Finding these rooms can be tough.
  • Marriott free nights are loosely linked to revenue rates. That said, we’ve seen rooms as cheap as 6,000 points/night in certain parts of the world. But it’s hard finding nights that cheap.

By this metric, the 7,500 point minimum for Wyndham Rewards doesn’t seem all that motivational to get us into their hotels. While a room for 7,500 points might sound attractive, it’s actually on the weaker side compared to the alternatives with Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Having more options is never a bad thing

We’re not going to say adding a transfer partner is bad. Having another partner helps add flexibility in case you need to transfer in points to your account for an award and you don’t have Capital One or Citi points. It might also help you combine points from multiple accounts if you’re looking to close an account.

On top of all of that, it’s a signal to the marketplace that Chase is still actively looking for partners to help make their points currency more robust for users. Adding a partner makes it far more likely the Chase Ultimate Rewards program will continue in its current state than it is to disappear.

And for that, we fully welcome Wyndham Rewards transfers. We just wouldn’t likely be making any ourselves.
