Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Global Getaways is back for another award sale–this time it’s to say “Summer Isn’t Over” by exploring the Pacific.

The latest Alaska Atmos Rewards Global Getaways deal
Every quarter, Alaska Airlines has a new promotion they call “Global Getaways”. This latest deal is up to 50% off economy flights between the following destinations and the United States:
- Sydney, Australia (from 35,000 points from Continental US or 25,000 points from Hawaii)
- Auckland, New Zealand (from 35,000 points from Continental US or 25,000 points from Hawaii)
- The Cook Islands (from 35,000 points)
- Manila, Philippines (from 25,000 points)
- Bangkok, Thailand (from 30,000 points)
- Hong Kong, S.A.R. (from 30,000 points)
To take advantage, economy flights must be booked with the following in mind:
- Booked between November 4, 2025 and November 11, 2025
- Travel between November 4, 2025 and March 30, 2026
- Includes flights available on Alaska, Hawaiian, and their partners
It’s awesome that partner flights are included
In what has become a rarity, Alaska Airlines is not only maintaining excellent standard award pricing on partners, but is doubling down by making this fare sale available on partner flights. Generally speaking, when airlines have these award sales, they tend to only make them available on their own metal and not with partners.
We expect this to only be the case until Alaska builds up a more robust international network. Currently, they’re only flying to a small handful of international destinations. To limit these sales on their own flights would be prohibitively restrictive at this point. However, once their international footprint grows, we expect their Atmos Rewards Global Getaways deals to not include partners.
So enjoy it while you can!
The booking process is simple
Just load up alaskaair.com on your internet browser and fill out your flight details during the promotional period. When you see search results, the discounted fare will already be hardcoded into the system, like this flight between LAX and MNL on Cathay Pacific for 25,000 points.

What’s interesting about this is that the flight goes through HKG. But the nonstop flight to HKG is actually more expensive at 30,000 points. Makes you wonder if you might want to book the flight to MNL to save 5,000 points and just step off the plane at HKG without connecting.

Not all flights are eligible for the discount. Just take a look at Starlux, where some flights come in at the 25,000-point price while others ring up at 100,000.

(And, again, the nonstop flight to TPE is much more expensive–almost twice as much as the promotional price.)

If you’re comfortable in not connecting, you could self-expand the list of destinations to others beyond the official list. However, take advantage of this too much and you could run the risk of getting your hand slapped–or more. Should you decide to do it, we wouldn’t suggest you make a habit out of it. It’s easier to ask for forgiveness if you only do it once instead of being a repeat offender.
