Our trip to Seoul revolved primarily around food, but we did spend some time exploring a couple palaces and Lotte World.

We went to Gyeongbukgung Palace and walked through the 11:00 AM English tour while my parents participated in the same tour in Chinese. Lunch took longer than expected and we missed our 1:30 PM reservation for the Secret Garden Tour at Changdeokgung Palace. Luckily, the ticket office allowed us to use the reservation for the 2:30 PM tour instead.
The original plan was to visit the indoor amusement park at Lotte World Adventure. We changed our minds as the KRW 48,000 per person admission fee did not seem to be worth the short visit between lunch and dinner. We were also a bit amusement-parked out after our recent days in Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park Hong Kong. We did some shopping at the Lotte World Department Store and Hi-Mart instead.
