Secret Trip Destination #7 – Singapore Activities

Chris and I spent two full days (arrived late night and departed early morning) in Singapore during this destination of Secret Trip. To make the most of our time, Chris had purchased a package through City Tours.

This included Free Transfer from Hotel, 2-Day Funvee Open Top City Tour, Captain Explorer DUKW Tour, FunVee Night Adventure, Gardens by the Bay (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest), and Night Safari Tour.

On day one, a van arrived to pick us up from our hotel at 9:00 AM for our 9:30 AM Captain Explorer DUKW Tour. The land and water tour had live commentary. We continued the day with both the Marina and the City routes of the Funvee Open Top City Tour. We hopped on and hopped off the Funvee Open Top City Tour bus for hawker center meals and refreshments back at the hotel. We ended our first full day in Singapore with the FunVee Night Adventure, which included a visit to watch the spectacular Gardens by the Bay Light Show.

On day two, Chris and I boarded the Funvee Open Top City Tour bus at the Orchard Street stop by our hotel and made our way to the Gardens by the Bay to visit the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. We took the SGD $10 round trip transfer between our hotel and the Night Safari Tour. The Night Safari park was dimly lit to accommodate the nocturnal animals, and was not conducive for pictures. We watched the Creatures of the Night show and rode the Tram at the Night Safari but left the park around 9:30 PM to ensure that we would be awake for our early flight the next morning.
