Multiple clearly labeled signs along the sidewalk made it easy to identify hotel from the street. The hotel was reserved under my name (I had two free Hyatt nights), but since Chris was staying with me, we were able to add his Hyatt Diamond benefits to this hotel reservation. We were escorted to our Standard King Room, which included a marble bath with rain shower and separate tub. A sliding divider separated the bathtub and bathroom from the bedroom area.
As a Hyatt Diamond amenity, we were invited to enjoy a signature cocktail at the Onyx Bar. I ordered the Tales of London (fresh mint shaked with old tom gin and manzanita apple liqueur served on ice with lime cordial) and Chris ordered the River of Taste (old demerara rum, swiss cinnamon liqueur and ginger shaked with apple juice and lime). Our drinks were so delicious that we ordered second drinks of Purple Mojito (Park Hyatt Paris Vendome – a tasty combination of blackberries and mint) and Strawberry and Basil Martini (Park Hyatt Milano – basil and fresh strawberries lightly muddled with gin and strawberry liqueur).
We also received complimentary breakfast at the Lobby Lounge with the option to order room service. As usual, we preferred to enjoy our breakfast in the restaurant.
