We had a Standard Park King room with a separate desk and lounge area. The large bathroom included a separate door for the toilet, a spacious rain shower and separate soaking tub. The walk-in closet was connected to the bathroom. The hotel provided Laura Tonatto bath amenities. I had never used this brand before, but it was quite nice and moisturizing. The hotel also provides Domori chocolates for turndown service.
We received an invitation in our room for a complimentary glass of Italian sparkling wine at the Mio Bar. The drinks were served with delicious canapés, olives, and mixed nuts. Chris typically does not like olives, but he had quite a few of the green olives with his sparkling wine. We had arrived for drinks at Mio around 7:15 PM, but had dinner reservations at Restaurant VUN at 7:30 PM. The friendly server at Mio told us not to rush and even escorted us to the restaurant.
Breakfast is also served inside Mio on the ground floor, and everything on the menu is included for Hyatt Diamond Members. We also had the option of ordering room service, but preferred to eat in the dining room.
The hotel is centrally located by the Duomo Metro stop, and convenient for our exploration around the city. For more details of our adventures outside the hotel, visit Milan, Italy.
